About The Owner
Spencer Kiekhaefer started push mowing lawns at 16 and officially launched the business at 19. With 11 years of hands-on experience — including two years working under another landscape company — he built SK Property Care on meticulous craftsmanship and genuine customer connection. Spencer specializes in complex hardscape and feature installations, bringing precision and vision to every retaining wall, patio, lighting system, and waterscape he designs. His attention to detail sets his work apart, and clients frequently refer him to friends and family. He often goes beyond the scope of work, adding thoughtful extras simply because he cares.
Spencer earned his associate degree in Fire Science from Kirkwood Community College while running his lawn care business and has served as a Lieutenant with the Swisher Fire Department for the past 11 years. In 2016, he shifted his focus to further develop his craft, earning certifications in hardscaping, lawn care, and multiple herbicide applicator licenses. Today, he combines technical expertise, strong communication skills, and confidence in his work. Clients value his honesty, reliability, and enthusiasm — reflected in his spotless online reputation.
